Welcome to the Volunteer Chapter of American Gold Star Mothers, Inc.

The American Gold Star Mothers are an organization of mothers who have lost a son or daughter in the service of our country. We are a Veterans Service Organization, established in 1928 and chartered by the United States Congress in 1984. American Gold Star Mothers continue to honor our sons and daughters through service to veterans and patriotic events.

The Volunteer Chapter was chartered on April 13, 1983 in Knoxville, Tennessee to honor the sons and daughters of East Tennessee Gold Star Mothers. You will often find one or more of us at local Veteran’s events, and especially at local Memorial Day and Veteran’s Day events.
